This heat resistant wire and ceraminc electrode are made to withstand heat and last a long time. This wire and electrode has a newer design without a plastic plug on the end. On older models, the plastic plug would come lose after long time use. This newer model won't give you that trouble.Authenic BeefEater Replacement
