This is BeefEater OEM Part Number 40156, which is an Igniter Capture Box for Signature Series 2000 grills.

Details

Made from 304 grade Stainless Steel. The igniter wire and electrode (sold separately) feed inside this box by the burner. The spark is generated from the valve and it sparks against this box to ignite the burner.
